As a porous ceramic packing ,Mullite Block are superior in better thermal shock resistance , higher AL content and lower coefficient of heat expansion, ultra low pressure comparing with other materials. It has been widely used in high thermal shock applications to adopting direct heat exchange through heat media, especially RTO equipments among industrial fields.
Meanwhile heat released from the oxidation of the VOCs is also captured in the heat recovery ceramic media beds. This further helps reduce supplement fuel use.
