In order to improve the utilization of heat, a heat exchanger can be set behind the RTO incinerator to enhance the utilization of waste heat. Cordierite block(so called Monolith Media) is applied as heat storage media in regenerative thermal processes to recover thermal energy also it can resolves RTO siloxane clogs in someway.




Structured media, take Cordierite blocks as example, it a filling body in ceramic material. They have provided low pressure drop reduced breakage and high efficiency  performance in RTOs. Ceramic heat recovery beds capture and reuse up to 95% of the systems energy, resulting in low fuel cost.
