Why your ceramic blocks damage?

Here may some reasons cause your blocks damage :

1. Workers disobey the machine operation guides. It won’t cause any problems in shortly, but the whole process may suddenly break down one day. By then, you'll have to maintain or replace the honeycombs.

2. Switch on and off the machine frequently, the ceramic blocks will easily cracking from the sharp temperature difference, though one of the typical advantage of heat exchange media is its excellent thermal shock resistance.

3. Complex Industrial conditions, especially dusty and oily industrial conditions. Or those without pretreat process which contains different concentration gases from the inlet gas, if no proper cleaning measures for ceramic blocks were taken in time, it will cause clogging.

4. Install blocks without gap : we recommend to keep expansion gap every 1 Centimeter per 1 Meter evenly distributed when place the blocks. Otherwise, it may cause cracking or damage.
